How do I communicate with customers through the dashboard (e.g., resend link re: appointment)?
Hi @s4Bb - You can send customers listed in your Customer Directory emails. Just click on their name and a right sidebar should open. There is a button on that profile with three dots (...) that will open a list that has an option to "Send Message." Does that solve your question?
Hi- thanks for the reply. I'm not sure if that will do it.
I had two patients this week who wanted to reschedule/cancel their appointments. One couldn't find the link that she initially received. When I went into my calendar, I was not able to resend the link for the appointment. When I went into the dashboard and into "Appointments" I was not able to resend the information about the appointment. I didn't see any way to do that.
I am used to using Yellow Schedule so I'm struggling to figure this one out.
But I do want to say that in the last 24 hours I noticed a "no show" button. That was great news but doesn't always apply. Most of the time my patients reschedule within 5 days. The only other option I saw on the appointment area was to cancel the appointment.
In essence: How do patients cancel/reschedule their own appointments when they don't have a link? How do I resend the link when I don't see how to do that in the appointments app.? (Hope this makes sense)

The appointment notification emails and reminders aren't able to be resent unfortunately.
If the client receives the notification, they're able to cancel/reschedule from their end (if you allow this), but if they lose the email or if it's not delivered for any reason, they'll need to reach out to you directly for a cancellation/ reschedule that you would change manually on your end from your Appointments Dashboard.
I can see how this would be a useful feature, so I'll raise this to our Appointments team. If anything changes we'll be sure to post about it.
