Changing the name that appears on transaction detail

When I go to an invoice and click on "Transaction details" the view that comes up shows the amount "collected by" - how do I change the name that appears under "collected by" - I find nothing in business / receipt settings that has a persons name, only my business name, and I'd prefer it only have my business name but can't determine where that persons name is hiding inside my settings 🙂

The name after "Collected by" is the sales persons name and then location.   If you don't have any sales people then it is just the location nickname.   

You can change the location nickname in your dashboard under Account and Settings / Location

I went to my nickname which only shows my company name, no human name listed... so that is not where "collected by" is pulling the information from. that nickname appears on my receipts, but the screen I'm looking at is "transaction details" that shows  "collected by" - and I've gone through all of my settings and cannot find a Human name in there anywhere to edit / delete 😄

The name then has to be in the Employees Section of the dashboard.  If you are the only one your name should be in the list.  You can edit it by clicking it if it is not your name.

got nothing there either, no employees at all - I tell ya their hiding it somewhere 😄

I see your using Square for Retail.  I am only familiar with Square Point of Sale.   I would just create you as an employee and see if that fixes your issue.  With Point of Sale the owner account is auto created.

Thank you, though no one was listed, when I went to add me, hit save, the other name popped up as owner, and wont let me edit it because "account owner first name must match one used to activate?" BUT thank you for helping me find it, I'll set up me with all permissions as well so hopefully it will fix the collected by! very grateful!
