Cash Sales not processing until "internet connectivity is restored"

Hello Square Community,

 

For some reason last night while I was connected to the internet my cash sales would not process and still will not go through. I can see them as offline transactions however they say they cannot process until internet connectivity is restored. I have tried 3 different networks, restarting the app and the tablet and nothing has worked. I am not in offline mode either, it is off.

Has anyone had this problem?

Hi @SpaffordMerch - so glad you let us know about this issue, and sorry for the confusion!

 

I don't think I've ever seen this issue before, so it's a difficult one to diagnose. Nevertheless, we will get to the bottom of it! 

 

If you can guarantee that you are not in offline mode, I would try walking through these troubleshooting steps and see if that makes any changes to your cash payments. If not, I would reach out to our Support Team and we can walk you through further troubleshooting.

Yeah im stumped too. Definitely not in offline mode. My credit transactions are all going through fin and I can see them on the report, but not Cash transactions. Square support is closed today so I will try them tomorrow.
