No, you need to use a transactional bank account.

@Rhondalajames The reply above is correct, as Square only supports fully transactional, brick  and mortar checking or savings accounts. 

Prepaid cards or online-only accounts (such as PayPal) aren’t supported at this time.

This is incorrect outdated info.

PayPal gives you a routing and account number from Wells Fargo for your Paypal account.

This answer needs to be 2019'd.

@143C4400 It's not possible to link PayPal account to your Square account yet. This is because PayPal accounts are online-only, and they aren't transactional which means they don't support debits (in case of chargebacks and refunds) as well as credits (for deposits).

So you were able to connect your Paypal account with the Account Number and Routing number provided?

I think this should work because its actualy a Wells Fargo Checking account?

For some resason it keeps rejecting when I try to activate it like this.

But on my Etsy Shop it works just fine.

So confused.
