Can you add a category to previously sold items

Hi. Our first sales were not categorized. We have since added categories to the items, but now the reports separate the same item with one categorized and the other uncategorized. I'm trying to get them to all appear as one item for reporting purposes. Is there a way to do that?

Hello @arturo2.

I see what you are trying to do here. At this time, the system does not allow us to edit past transactions. If you ever need to add a note to a transaction should this happen again or as a reminder of some sort, you can do this at the time of sale. Take a look at this article with more details. One last thing, notes will NOT show under reports, this is just internal information for you.
