Can we remove the 'pay now' button from invoices where customers pay by check?

We are a non-profit family camp. Most of our families pay by credit card, but we have a few who will pay by check. We would like to customize invoices for those people who want to pay by check by removing the 'pay now' option at the top of the invoice. Possible?

I do not believe it is possible to change the payment options available to the recipients of an invoice.

 

 You could add a note to the invoice that says to help support the camp, even more, please pay by check so we can avoid credit card fees.

@joefajen While you cannot remove the "Pay Invoice" button from the emailed invoice, once your customer pays you via check you can mark the invoice as paid in your Square Dashboard Invoice tab and choose "Check" as the payment method. 

 

If the customer clicks on the "Pay Invoice" button within the email, it will take them to the receipt for the transaction reflecting that it was paid by check.

Square team: could we work on adding this feature? I too send a lot of invoices to groups who pay by check, and I would like to be able to remove the credit card "pay now" option from certain invoices.

I am sadly going to be forced to look at a different provider due to this issue. 

 

Given the types of clients I work with, most do not use a credit card to pay for their larger projects, just the recurring monthly charges. 

 

Paying via credit card puts them into a different fee structure, as paying square hundreds of dollars to process a 1 time large project payout doesn't make any sense.

 

I understand that credit card transactions are how Square makes their money, but for many of us, you will lose all of the business we do on CCs because of a lack of support for the smaller % we do not.

The title of this post has been edited from the original: Annoying credit card prompt on invoice

 

Any way to get rid of that annoying pay by credit card prompt on every invoice? Square please remove that and let us choose which payment method for them to use. I refunded a customer and it is taking them 7 days to recieve the refund. Now I have to wait 7 days to get paid by check. That way when customer chooses to use credit card I can charge them the fee you charge.
