Can a customer in the UK purchase from a USA website? (Mine are "failing")

My WooCommerce website is setup to sell digital downloads as well as physical books for an author.

A customer  from the UK tried to order and it failed. Is this something happening on my end? USA digital purchases go through ok.

Do I need anything else setup on my end in WooCommerce?

JUST noticed that the message on website was in regards to SQUARE not 

"Square payment failed. Staus code "invalid phone number" Expected phone number to be a valid phone number".

Not quite sure what to do about that...

While I don't know a lot about troubleshooting for the Square/WooCommerce integration. From the error, I can see that either the phone number was missing when requested during checkout or the formatting was incorrect. I recommend double-checking that and also reaching out to WooCommerce (or the developer that created the Square Integration you are using as your payment gateway) to let them know about this error.
