Appreciate you posting the questions here. There are a couple of other questions I need to clarify and provide the best support. 

Are you looking to add charity for your business? Or would this be a different business entirely? 

There is an option to create "charity" as an item in your Item Library. It would be up to you to send the funds collected to the necessary business. 

Other than that, this would be a Feature Request. I would be happy to tag this for our Product Team, so they can take a look.

Thank you for your response to my question.  Here is the scenario:  My hair salon offered to do a St. Jude fundraiser for me and would like to add a line on the credit card payment where a customer can add a donation to line titled ‘Donation’ or ‘St. Jude donation’.  The beauty salon owner would then add the donations together at the end of the event and write a check to St. Jude.  

Is it possible to do this?

Ah I see! So it looks like you would want to create an actual line item labeled Donation or St. Jude's donation to add it to the transaction. 

It would have to be added with their services before checkout, unfortunately we don't have the option of the pop-up "Would you like to donate to St. Jude".

Kassi, do you mean it would have to be included in the salon service total before checkout?  If so, this of course would not work because there would be no way to track the donation totals.  And thank you for your help here.

Sorry for the confusion! It wouldn't be included in the salon service, it would actually be it's own line item. But it would have to be added to the ticket before checkout.

Hey @jmaune - Jumping in for Kassi here. Whoever is the Square account owner will need to log and add the Item to the Square Appointments account or Square POS. Hope this helped.
