How can I track gift cards issued for charitable events and also issue with no monetary transaction?

you can load a gift card and ring it up at 100% discount, therefore, ending up with a loaded gift card and no money being paid for it.  

the POS automatically tracks the gift cards so I'm not sure what you want to track so if you gave more info on that.
