Can I send coupons to customers who sign up for my mailing list?

Hello, I am wondering if there is a way to do a coupon for customers who sign up for my mailing list?

What I am thinking is doing an ad via a company I work with, in that add I would like to offer a discount to customers who sign up for my mailing list. I would like the coupon or code to be sent to the customer AFTER they sign up.

Is there a way to do this?

Hey @jenniferpatters- Welcome!

Would you be using our email collection link for customers to sign up for your mailing list? Or a third party email collector? If you use our embedded sign up form, it'll be easy to track new customers who sign up for your mailing list. Those customers get added to your Customer Directory, which you can then turn around and use the list of new customers to send a Square Marketing email that includes a coupon!

I will be using the embedded sign up form, I guess this would work but it seems like there should be the option for the coupon to be automatically sent, versus my having to sort through, find the new sign ups and then send the coupon.

Hello, I am just now coming back to this! I have set up my mailing using the embedded sign up form. I am trying to figure out if the sign ups get an opt-in email, and if so, can I edit that email? 

If that is not possible then I will consider using a third party for my mailing list (which I have had for years!) and will need to know how to set that up. 

I should mention I am using the Square version of Weebly.

@jenniferpatters thanks for asking! If you're using the marketing feature for Square Online you can edit your automated emails on the Dashboard to say what you need to say.

This does not answer my question, I have not signed up for the upgrade for Square marketing it is WAY over my budget! I want to know if what I AM using sends out an opt-in message after my leads sign up. And if so, HOW do I edit it?

If I cannot edit it, how do I set it up to use a third party service for my newsletter list?
