I cannot see how to process a return in the restaurant app. We are having to refund the customer then re-purchase. Is there an option I'm missing or a workaround?

Hey @Whalebone - to my knowledge, exchanges are only doable with Square for Retail, not Restaurants

@Whalebone @JustinC Couple of things, on doing a refund you can choose to refund items or just $$ amount. If you refund items, it will put those back into inventory/not sold I believe. If you just refund the amount, then it still looks like you sold that item on inventory. There isn't a way to do a refund and repurchase in the same transaction that I know of in the restaurants app. You could look at reopening a closed check if you are paying for the restaurants+ subscription to edit a closed ticket.
Can you give a little more specifics about the transaction? is it food/merchandise/service/catering etc.?
