My partner and I opened up a small shop in our hometown during the Pandemic. We chose to use Square because it seemed to have the most user friendly features.
During this time, membership is more important than ever, and it's a big way people are creating community in a time where social distancing and lack of human contact in general is taking its toll on all of our minds and bodies. It is deeply frustrating to have been under the impression from a square representative that this was something we could use through our website. We have come to understand that it is not.
We may have used a different platform if we would have know this was the case. It's hard to understand with the amount of money we see going towards our square transactions that something like Membership would be on the back burner given what Square hopes and promises to offer. It is a highly in demand request these days. It needs to be addressed asap please.
