Can I disable "Other" payment method options?

I want the only "Other" payment method to be Check. Employees sometimes use the "Other Gift Card" option incorrectly, causing our cash counts to be off. Can I remove that option?

Edit:  Good news, as of March 9 with the updated Square POS client you can rearrange and eliminate types of payments.

Old outdated answer: Currently, it is not an option to enable/disable or change the options for payments.

When can we have the option to add "custom" features to the OTHER payment?

I am a buy sell trade business and need an option where they pay by "paypal" "trade".

Will also need the option to run a report on this payment type too.

@bricksonthemove No news on this feature becoming available as of right now, but that can change. 

Your best option would be to use the "Other" tender method and add an optional note for those types of payments.

Is it not possible to accept/log tips using the ‘other’ payment type?

Hello @ABaker! Currently you cannot log tips with this payment option. Although, when you go to charge "Other Tender" you do have the option to add a note. You could distinguish the tip amount in this section.
