Can I accept a Cash Payment and send my customer a receipt?

A new client prefered to pay me in cash for the first payment and I would like to send him a reciept. Is there a way I can create and invoice and mark as paid before I send it? I do have his email and it's entered into my directory. Thanks

you can accept cash the same way you accept credit cards, it's just an option on the payments screen.  yes, you can send a receipt to an email or text just like you can for a credit card sale.
