Can I Use Square with existing Merchant Account?

I already have a merchant account through another credit card payment processor.

Can I use the Square reader with my existing account, or do I have to use Square to process payments?

You can use Square in addition to your current provider as a backup or use Square full time.  But you need to have an account (free) with Square as it will not work in conjunction with your current processor account.
