Are We Able To Use Gift Cards On Square Reader BOUGHT From Different Website?!

Hello!

I am thinking of adding actual Gift Cards to my business.  Right now I only use paper ones BUT everyone likes the plastic credit card looking ones.  I've used VistaPrint for my other business needs so I was going to use them to buy the cards.  Are we able to use those OR do the cards have to be bought through Square?!  There aren't many options for a spray tanning business in the card picture range.  LOL

They can be reused and reloaded.
