Appointments at Multiple Locations | Selling Packages for Pre-Paid Services

I have seen these topics both come up a few times and it is said that is "is in development on the pipeline etc."  Is there a time frame for either:

 

  • Being able to quickly change between two locations in the appointments app?  I work at multiple locations and have to log out and back in to book an appointment at a different location, why can't I just toggle or select?
  • Selling customer 'pre-paid' services that then deducts it off their account as they come in and use them would be helpful as well.  Right now it is a manual process to track if you sell any 'pre-paid' service packages

I, unfortunately, do not have a timeline to provide for feature requests, but we do try to update threads as soon as we see a new release. 

 

It's not currently possible to switch between locations in the iPhone and iPad app, or Square Register. You would need to use your Appointments Dashboard in a browser to toggle between locations. You can find more information here

 

Can you elaborate more on the second request?

I give lessons.  I sell them in packages etc.  So I'd like to sell for example 5 lessons at a set price.  They pay for all 5 lessons upfront and each time they use one it would deduct it off their account.

Per jsgolf's question in regards to packages: I sell service packages and like to sell 5 service at a set price.  They pay for all 5 services upfront and each time they use one will/can it deduct it off their account automatically. Please let me know if this Is possible yet?

Hey @jsgolf,

 

I have the same issue with selling 3 lesson packages. I just have to mark it in my notes that they have paid for the package and then keep track of how many they have used... pain in the butt. My question to you is this: I give lessons at two different locations, do you know how to separate the calendar so my students have only the option to book at the location that I am teaching at that day. 

 

For example, I teach at one golf course Monday-Thursday, and a golf range Friday-Sunday. How can I get my calender so show only my availability at each location for each day of the week and not allow my students to book at either location during my open business hours? Let me know if you have a solution. Thanks!

Same! I run a skincare clinic/spa and we learned at a convention that selling packages is where it is at. I ran it by clients and EVERY SINGLE ONE wanted to be able to get a discount by buying packages of 3-4 services at a time. I sold a guy a series of skin treatments for $400 giving him 4 sessions. Now, when he books and we go to check him out, I have no idea how to cash him out without messing up the books. Also, he booked with a different worker since I was off work the day he needed to come in, I need to be able for that worker to get her commission (which is set in the system already at 50% of the treatment rate) and I can't pay the worker correctly with tracking. I guess it is back to not selling packages for now. It appears that square hasn't fixed this for YEARS. UGH.
