App issues

I cannot use my app. I have iPhone 6+ and totally up to date. The app seems to be in permanent "download mode," but won't download or delete. It says it is waiting for an update. I've tried deleting so I could reinstall but it won't go away. Very frustrating because I cannot use the square reader. So basically my business is completely kaput during this time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm getting pretty concerned now.

Have you tried going to iCloud and deleting the app from there first? Then delete it from your phone. If that doesn't work, you'll probably have to go to your local apple bar or your carrier to get help.
