All of the questions about problems with the chip reader are from 2016. Any 2017 problems?

I noticed that all of the questions about problems with the chip reader are from 2016. I don't see any questions about problems with the chip reader from 2017. Does that mean that the readers are working better now?

I have not had any issues with our 4 contactless readers.  However, I do not recommend the combo chip/swipe that plugs into your phone, that I have had multiple issues with that on multiple devices.
