“Accept Order” randomly shows up..

I have searched but can’t find an answer. 

 

On occasion, when a customer places an order for pickup, Square seems to think that I want to manually accept the order. I have my settings set to automatically accept all orders.

 

On the “Active Orders” screen, the word “New” will be green vs. red. Click on that order and in the corner where it says “Mark As Ready” it instead says “Accept Order”. Click the button, it changes to “Mark As Ready”.

 

It seems entirely at random. Doesn’t seem to matter what the customer orders. I have customers who order weekly, paying with the same CC. Some weeks it accepts the order, sometimes I have to accept it manually.

 

Any ideas?

Just to be sure- are you using the Weebly Online Store or the old Square Online Store version?

Good morning! 

 

Im using the old Square Store. A few months back I took a look at using Weebly but didn’t particularly care for it. Maybe I should take another look.

Hey @BreadBaker! Thanks for the confirmation. It's strange that it's happening at random for you. I haven't heard of this happening for others to where it would be a Square wide issue.

 

If you're not already, I'd try using a Chrome browser and even give these troubleshooting steps a shot for the Dashboard. If after all that it's still not working correctly, you might want to give our CS team a call so they can dig into this a bit more.
