2-Step Verification using Security Questions?

I am all for 2-step verification.  However, having come to Square via a previous Weebly website account, Square has a flawed 2-step verification process for institutional accounts.

With my Weebly login, I could CHOOSE a cell text, an email, or answering one of two security questions.

With Square, I can ONLY
a) give you my private cell phone number for a text (invades my personal privacy -- this is a JOB!) which doesn't help other members of my team, and bugs me when THEY log in

b) download the Google Authentication App to every computer that might be used by me or my co-workers (cumbersome because installing apps involves our school's IT department AND invasive of privacy if each of us has to install and run this app on our personal computers when working from home, because ... Google).

How about adding option c) Security Questions for 2-step verification?
The security question option is perfectly easy and just as secure. Everyone on the team can know the answers, and nobody on our team needs to register their private cell phone number with Square in order to do their municipal job.

Hey there @EarlyChildhood

I totally understand where you are coming from. The only other option I could suggest is giving a trusted employee the ability to receive this 2-step on their phone. You can add additional numbers to verify the 2 step. This will allow a designated employee to be able to log in without having to bother you.

P.S. Welcome to the Seller Community
