Square Register Release Notes: SQUID 2.60

Hello Square Community! Here are the latest release notes, which will be updated about every three weeks with software updates for Register.

New features available in SQUID 2.60:

• [New Feature] Scan Duplicate SKUs

Use the same bar code for multiple items? Now when you scan a bar code that’s used for multiple variations or items, you can choose exactly which one you’re selling.

• [New Feature] Break Tracking

Break tracking is here. Let team members clock out when they go on break, then clock in when they’re back—their timecards will automatically update.

• [Bug Fixes] We made a number of other bug fixes and stability improvements to keep you running smoothly.

You can check which version of SQUID you have by going to Settings > General > About Register. If you don’t see this feature immediately, don’t worry.
