Urgent please help :
A lot of my customers are receiving a deceptive site warning when trying to access my site. This has never been a problem before and square are unable to assist and have stated it’s a google chrome issue.
i don’t have a google account and I’m unsure how I fix the issue.
This is causing me to lose business.
Any advise on how I fix this please.

@Gemini14 I'm going to let @Minion run with this. But I did want to add that it is NOT just a Chrome issue. Support should not have been so quick to say that. It is happening on every browser that I have, including Safari and Edge and the errors are coming from Apple and Microsoft. It seems that your website might have been hacked as part of a phishing scheme. @Minion's question about third-party apps, plugins, etc, is valid in this case. Good luck.
Hi, no change or 3rd party apps. It’s been fine since I had it for over three years and now my customers are currently getting this
Hi, no 3rd party apps and no changes. It has worked perfectly fine for over three years and now my customers are receiving this
@Gemini14 This usually happens if you have a redirect for that URL to go to somewhere else or there might be some bad flag with your site name. I would suggest trying changing the URL and then wait for the DNS to auto update, Give it a try with that.
Hi would this be a URL redirect? If not do you know how I go about doing this. I can’t find how I change this in my settings
No, I’ve tried to login to google console, but it doesn’t work. Should I try and connect it first?
Yeah, You'll want to create an account for Google console and then connect your site to it and let it crawl, I believe that I should show you where the error is coming from.
Ok thanks for your help. I’ll do that today and let you know how that goes to see if that can lead to a potential fix
Hi, I have tried to follow the steps to create a google console account, however when I log in my dashboard on square up it doesn’t show - Sales channels > Online > Settings> Tracking Tools.
under sales channel is it only shows meta for business and Facebook food ordering.
I’m completely unaware or how I proceed from here and fix this issue

Sorry for the delay @Gemini14 . I don't use Square Online, so I'm unsure of the connections on the back end, but you should be able to go here directly and input your domain. Let me know if you are able to do so.
HI @Gemini14
My suggestion is to try to change the name of your site, if you can remove the numbers, it would better for your search and users,
try a variation of geminibeauty.square.site
Once you do it I will try to wait for DNS to udpate in few hours
Try and see if you're still getting the error on the new url/name
Your site is being flagged for phishing attempt, from what I can comprehend, I see you have a personal outlook email address in your site, that might tigger it but I can't be 100% sure, I would suggest getting an email with your business branding/name
Try these few things it should be resolved easily
Once its done, I would recommend using Google Search Console to list your site there to see more details there
Please let me know if this works for you,
