New to appointments and need advice

What is the best hardware for the appointments system and taking bills . I run a small business and wondered what’s best to buy and use ?

So first off, what type of business do you run, and then how exactly do you use or plan to use appointments in your workflow?  Will you be manually booking in appointments, allowing customers to book online, or a little combination of both?

We have a Square Stand with an iPad and cash drawer. It works great for us. The nice thing about the Square Stand option is that the iPad can always be utilized for other apps and workflows when needed. We also occasionally take appointments on our personal iPhones when we’re on the go. 

Having said that, every business is different. As @Minion mentioned, if you let us know what type of business, we can provide more personalized recommendations.

To give you the best hardware recommendation, could you tell us a bit more about your business setup?

If you primarily go to your customers to perform services and take payments on the spot, the Square Terminal is an excellent all-in-one portable option. However, if you have a traditional retail space or a dedicated checkout counter where customers come to you, the Square Register offers a more permanent, dual-screen setup that's great for fixed locations.

Depending on your workflow, you might also consider the Square Stand if you already use an iPad. We look forward to hearing more about your business!
