Hi! I run a pet sitting business and would love it if clients could book multiple days at once, for instance - going out of town for a weekend. Is there currently a way to do so?
Sounds like you're clients are booking from the booking page on their own?
I know if you make the appointment from the dashboard or the appointments app, you can set it to repeat, or recur.
There doesn't seem to be an option for the customer to book it this way on their own.
As a work-around, you could instruct the customer to put in the notes if they want more days and you could edit the appointment to repeat.
Certainly not ideal and requires extra steps and special attention to detail on both sides.
Personally, I have resorted to using the online Weebly store forms for customers to request an appointment, then I book it in the system myself. By creating my own form, I have been able to add custom questions and get a lot more detail about the customers' needs before the appointment is made and allows me to confirm the exact time and date. I could see this being helpful to you to gather info such as breed, size, weight, special needs/diet, special commands, vaccinations, etc.
Also, our appointment times are a little complicated and I couldn't stop people from booking times we weren't available without blocking out specific hours every day. It was far too tedious.
If you'd like to know more about the forms or my suggestions, feel free to reach out.
The online store where you make the forms is included with square, although there are addition premium add-ons.

Thank you so much for all of the helpful information, I am going to try it out this way. I also offer a few other options in terms of booking. So hopefully if they have a complicated stay or prefer a different method, they don't select this option, because it is annoying to rebook multiple times. I did notice it's pretty easy to just click "continue and book another" where it saves your info. But still frustrating. Thank you!
i would love to learn more about these forms
To get to the forms, go to your dashboard, click online in the menu section, Click website, Edit site.
Create a page or select a page you want to add the form to.
Add a section to the page
Scroll down and select forms
Choose a template based on the info you need, mostly I use the Contact Us template
Click on the form preview, on the left pane you will see basic questions, but you can add more questions.
Add a Question:
Choose from Multiple choice, short/long answer, drop down list, date, time, address, name, email, or phone number.
After it's added, click the edit pencil (shows when you hover over the question).
From here you can Change the Label/Name, type in multiple choice options, etc.
You can choose to allow multiple selections, or restrict it to one choice and choose if the question is required to be answered or not.
Below the questions list on the left pane, there are other settings:
Change the Form (section) Title and description or change the submit button title and how it displays.
Under settings you can customize the confirmation email sent to the person who fills it out.
You can also choose an email address where you will receive the form when it is submitted by a customer. You can see form submissions in the online dashboard under "website", but personally I like getting the email and then I can directly reply and the customer will see the details they supplied.
I have a separate website that I use for our main business, so I just use links to the forms or imbed them into my main site, but you can use the online store and site as is for your main site if you wish.
If you have any specific questions about what you need specifically, let me know.
Here are 2 examples of forms I use regularly.
thank you!
Hey @ChaseingPaws,
At this time, we do not offer a way to book multiple days. This is a feature request as of right now. You are referring to your Square Online appointments, correct? Did @crystalimages workaround not work for you?
Thank you! Yes their info was very helpful, hopefully it gets added because I think it would help so many businesses 🙂
