If a service is prepaid is there a way to unlock the appointment to change who is assigned?

Many of our massage customers book online.  The problem is there appointment becomes locked and is shown as "Complete" even though they have not arrived yet.  If we want to assign a different massuese it does not let us if "Complete".  We would rather just be able to see how much was paid so we could edit the service - whether moving on the calendar under a different masseuse, or adding additional requested services

 

Then we would be able see how much paid so far, and how much is owed on checkout, and they can add a tip too, without needed to mannually type a dollar amount to charge).  

 

But most importantly, locking up the appointment under the original masseuse assigned when prepaid causing large scheduling headaches on our calendar.

  3. Add Services During Checkout:

    • To streamline your checkout process, you can add services to the appointment during the checkout phase. This allows clients to select additional services at that time, making it easier to adjust charges without manually typing amounts.
  4. Consider Workarounds:

    • If your team needs to assign different massage therapists frequently, you might consider creating a temporary “placeholder” appointment under the new therapist’s name until the client arrives. This can help avoid locking issues while keeping your calendar organized.
  5. Feedback to Square:

    • I recommend submitting your feedback to Square about the locking issue. They appreciate user input and may consider enhancing appointment management features in the future.
