why is it every couple of weeks my account is under review?

Every other week almost my account goes under review and I dont have access to my funds. Why is that??? I run a catering company and a food truck. I need access to my money at all times. Its not like Im trying to run a business over here. This is so annoying!!

I'm sorry to hear your account is going under review more than once. How often are you using Square for transactions? Have you fully set up your account with identification?

 

If it's happening more than once you might want to reach out to Square support to find out why your account is going under review. My guess is that since it's catering and/or sporadic large amounts it triggers a review process.

We use it almost every day. we also have a food truck.....Today I did a lunch order for $137 and now im under review for the 3rd time in a month  and a half ......

I know it's frustrating but only Square can tell you why you're under review especially more than once.

 

Have you reached out to them via Support? The process can be frustrating but reviews only occur in order to verify your business and or in the event of fraudulent activity from my experience.

I have escalated this inquiry to our team. Just seeing if something further we can do on our end to prevent this.

 

As @PartyManiaMD stated, thanks again for the chiming in and providing insight. We truly review accounts for security of customers, and merchants.  

 

But I definitely understand how exhausting this can be. I am happy to look a little more into this and see if we can get a solution.

I'm having the SAME issue but mine is literally EVERY transaction these past few weeks even though square support said it would only be a one off thing and Support is absolutely ZERO help.... ZERO!!  They just say that they literally don't know anything every single time and they people that supposedly do know something....... well you can't talk to or get in touch with them.... Great way to run a business!!! It's almost impossible for me to try and run my business using square
