Thanks for reaching out. While we're not able to look into private account transactional information via our Community forum, as some general advice:
- Are you using a device that has a 1.6% processing rate? Those devices are Square Terminal and Square Register.
- Are you calculating 1.6% on a per-transaction basis, or 1.6% of your total sales for the day? Because Square takes processing fees on a per-transaction basis, 1.6% of each individual transaction will be a slightly different figure to 1.6% of your total card sales figure for the day (due to rounding)
- Have you checked the processing rate as it's recorded on your transaction history? This is available by clicking on a card transaction, then you can view the fee percentage and amount from the bottom of the transaction window, below the receipt link:
