URGENT- Square holding Deposits for Over a Week

I feel totally helpless at this point and have nowhere else to try to get support so I figured I would try here. I've had the same email on my square account for over 2 years. Then out of nowhere I received an email with an 'Information Request' saying if I did not submit the info, deposits would be submitted. I was super confused by this request, as when looking at it, there was no context at all, and the first question was basically 'tell us why you used an unauthorized email'. Again- I have had the same email on the account for over 2 years. Nonetheless- I changed the email on the account and completed all of the info to avoid deposits being suspended. When submitted on Oct 15th, it said everything would be reviewed in 1-3 business days. 

 

Deposits were never resumed, the request was never reviewed, and I now have over 5k in deposits being held from my business without explanation. I have chatted with Square support and spoke to them on the phone at least twice/day for the last 4 days. The most frustrating part is every day they say they can't say exactly when, but it will be resolved "Today" and I'll get an email. Then I never get an email. It's actually kind of crazy they all use the same line and then I have not heard one bit of follow-up since I submitted the requested (that they requested!!!) on the 15th last week.

 

I almost believed the support agent on the phone yesterday afternoon, as I was literally on the phone with him for over 2 hours and refused to get off until it was resolved. He told me it was for sure going to be today (yesterday) and he would even send me an email stating that. Below is that email I received last night. Not to my surprise- I never received an email and still am not getting deposits. 

 

It is truly a wild feeling when you are totally helpless and nobody at support can help. It is also very suspicious. They all just say I spoke with 2 other departments but it's a 3rd department that has to resolve this and we haven't heard back from them yet. Is Square having some type of bankruptcy issue that they can't pay out everything and are giving their smaller customers the run-around? 

 

Hopefully someone here can help me as over 5k to a small business is truly important and needed to pay the lease and bills. The worst part is that with each day that goes on I have no idea how long it could be and what I should do next. Is this even legal? Thanks for anyone that can help.

Is Square getting ready to file for bankruptcy? They have been holding deposits for over a week now and every day support lies and says it's going to be resolved "today". I have actually been told that every day and they all seem to be using the same script about can't give an immediate answer because they haven't heard back from the department. Here is an example from the lie last night.
