So my square unit is heating up. I have been on hold over half an hour. I'm not able to speak with management. They are suggesting I shut my business down which during covid is not an optimal solution. Annoying that we are not able use it. I understand situations happen but I'm offering to pay to have shipping expedited which seems like isn't an option. Terrible for my busy summer time business. Yikes square not good

Best Buy carries Square readers and stands in-store if you need to get a replacement ASAP.

It's true that expedited shipping is not available for every piece of hardware.
However, you can always grab a new Square Reader at a store near you if you need one in a pinch.
Are you keeping your reader on a charger all day?
I wasn't able to locate a case in our system - did you call us from the number associated with your Square account?
