I just accepted a payment of $105.00. 5 minutes later my account was deactivated and the money was taken from my customer. I received a no reply email that I will get what ever funds were in my account back in 120 days, minus various fees. And I could refund the customer, but it would come out of my linked bank account. Email me I think we may have a class action suit. **********@gmail.com

I’m sorry you’re experiencing this.
To be honest, this seems incredibly out of character for the way Square handles business. I know there have been quite a few scam emails going around that look like they’re coming from Square (I received one).
Was the payment you accepted from someone you normally do business with, or was it a new patron?
