Are there less expensive Gift Card options?

This pricing is truly disappointing.  I hope others in the Seller's Community keep speaking up on this topic and Square offers rates that are better.

We also just paid a large FedEx fee.  Square, you need to be on the sellers side with this issue.  The per card price needs to go down and please force eCards to use other carriers with better prices.  Square, if you force us to use this vendor, you need to negotiate on our behalf.

I agree, Square needs to do better.  Seller's, we need to post about this and make some noise.

Sellers, please make comments on this and if you agree or disagree with the prices.  Please keep in mind, they charge an extra large mark up for the plastic cards and if it's bought with a credit card they get those fees as well.  I love Square, but this is absolut murder on your margins!  Speak up!

E -gift cards are not the special gift people want to give, it's a printed piece of paper.  The card makes the act a more special gift.  Square needs to do better.

You have posted on the original thread a total of 6 times.

Now that we have that out of the way, I understand that you are upset about the pricing point for physical gift cards. We do not have plans to change the pricing point at this time but should anything change, we will be sure to update Square Sellers.
