A customer called and cancelled an order. Then told us she cancelled the charge with her CC bank. Now it's come to us as a dispute. Do I refund the dispute claim or did it automatically refund when I cancelled the order?
@19SAM66 Normally when you cancel an order it should take you through doing a refund automatically. I always do the refund then. If you do the refund first, then the dispute won't go anywhere as the bank will see the refund. I would much prefer this to a dispute coming down through square as it might not make some algorithm somewhere happy.
Not much you can do otherwise. I would refund either way asap.
