I’m really frustrated and hoping someone from Square or the community can give some guidance.
My Square account was recently placed under review, and I provided all the requested information and documentation. After waiting for the review to be completed, I was under the impression that the issue was resolved and that my account could continue operating normally.
However, when I attempted to transfer the available funds from my Square balance, the transfer was automatically placed on hold again, and it seems like the account/funds went back into another review process. This happened right after the previous review had already been completed.
I’ve contacted Square Support multiple times, but I keep receiving the same general response that the review is still pending or that they cannot provide additional details. Meanwhile, my funds have been sitting in Square for days, and I have no clear timeline or explanation.
This is extremely frustrating because I already submitted the required information, waited for the initial review, and now I’m being forced to wait again without any real update. As a business, this creates serious cash flow issues and makes it very difficult to operate.
Has anyone else experienced this situation where funds were held again immediately after a review was completed? How long did it take for Square to release the funds or provide a final decision?
I would really appreciate any advice or any help from Square staff. I just need a clear update and access to the funds that are still being held.

Good morning! I’m heaving the the same problem right now. My account it’s been reviewed since last Monday. I provided everything they asked for, and I still haven’t heard back from them. The worst thing is when I call, nobody can help and them keep asking 2 more days. Even my client is willing to help, but they just don’t care about the customers.
