I haven’t used my Square reader for 12 months due to Covid closure. I just received an online sale and the amount is over $2000 and it is declining.

One thing I will say though, is if you have a sudden and unexpected large transaction from an online buyer than continues to decline, be very cautious it's not a fraudulent transaction, and take whatever measures you deem necessary to ensure it's legitimate. Large declined online transactions can be an indicator that something may not be right with the transaction.
