Blocked from Square Marketing – Need Guidance

Hi everyone, I’ve been running my store with Square for a few months and so far the platform has been great for managing my products and payments. Up until now, I’ve been using Brevo for marketing, but I wanted to bring everything under one roof, so I decided to try Square Marketing. I imported my customer contact list and set up a campaign, but almost immediately my account was blocked for violating the Terms of Use. I then received a notice that my Square Marketing subscription had been cancelled. I understand Square has strict compliance policies, but I wasn’t expecting a full block on my first campaign. I’d really like to resolve this properly, keep everything integrated, and continue using Square Marketing if possible. Has anyone else had this experience? And is there a way to appeal or work with Square Support to get back on track? If Square Marketing really isn’t an option for me, I may have to look at switching platforms, since Square doesn’t integrate easily with other marketing providers — but I’d prefer to stay with Square if there’s a solution. Any advice from others who’ve dealt with this would be much appreciated.

Hi @GEOSITE, thanks for reaching out and sharing what’s going on with your account. While your account is deactivated or under review, you won’t be able to create or send a marketing campaign until the issue is resolved. Since we avoid discussing account-specific details publicly, I’ll send you a message so I can assist you directly. I know disruptions like this can be frustrating, and I really appreciate your patience as we work through it.
