Trying to figure out how to fix this. Our account has been flagged for SHAFT (assuming because the last business at this address was a vape shop). Square is telling me to reverify and there is no way to even start verifying. As of lately it really seems that square has no idea what they are doing anymore with the rollout of their new backend system. Why fix something that wasn't broke?

Under SHAFT-C, which stands for Sex, Hate, Alcohol, Firearms/Fireworks, Tobacco and Cannabis, network carriers have created a set of rules to determine what content can and cannot be sent via text message. Businesses sending content or messages related to SHAFT-C are either completely banned or faced with extra restrictions. You can learn more about SHAFT-C requirements here.
These restrictions are imposed by carriers to help ensure toll free number traffic excludes prohibited use cases and comports with applicable law and industry best practices. In the future, we may contact you to provide updates on your eligibility.
