I have a problem
1- The inventory is not updating. I'm trying to add new quantity but it goes to previous status always in minus or zero. I tried to update the stock from the dashboard and by uploading the CSV file and in the boh ways not updating. Can anyone help.

What is going on with Square lately. Nothing seems to work properly. Even this post I am writing is not updateing. No one is abailable at help center. Anyone else having issues? If you go to a different page like a modifier then return to your "saved" item the inventory has reset to 0 and you have to start all over again. Anyone?

@CakeandKarak @Feedback2016 - After testing things out on your individual dashboards, I wasn't able to replicate the issue being reported. Are you sure that both of you are pressing the save button before closing out of the tab where you adjust the inventory quantities?
pretty sure there were some issues. Everything back up and running now.

I am having the same issue; I have added my inventory numbers and hit save but when I come back to the items page everything is zero'd out. Is this feature not working?
@danpolulak - Sorry to hear about the trouble! Would you mind sharing what browser you are using to access the dashboard (https://www.whatismybrowser.com/)? Have you tried to switching to another one?
Update: it seems like this issue has already been reported to our Engineering Team. While they sort out a fix, they have recommended that by refreshing the browser, you should be able to view the correct item count. Please let me know if it remains zero after a refresh.

I'm experiencing the same issue. My wife and I both tried updating the stock QTY today from two different laptops (a MacBook Air and a Dell, both using Chrome though).

Hello, I am having the same problem. My browser is Edge 44 on Windows 10. This is what happens:
I click on the stock I currently have for the item.
The Edit Variation Window pops up with the Manage Stock link highlighted.
I click on reason and choose inventory received
I add the inventory. It shows the what I added plus the current amount (4+5).
I click done.
This returns me to the Edit Item screen.
The inventory is not changed. The save button does not activate.
Hmm, I suggest switching from Edge to Google Chrome, as it best works with our website.
Let me know if you're still having issues updating your inventory stock levels.
I can update stock through a computer on the website, but when I upload spreadsheets to update stock it does not work. I have downloaded the sheet after doing a stock recount change and the change is reflected in the new csv I download, but then changing on the sheet and uploading does not reflect in the online inventory. Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear about this. When you are re-uploading the corrected inventory spreadsheet, do you see any error messages appear? Also, what browser are you using to perform this action.

There are no error messages that show when I upload. I am using google chrome on a mac. Running El Capitan, if that's helpful.
Understood. You're definitely using the most compatible browser. Is your Mac showing an update available for your system software from El Capitan to Catalina?
Other than that, we recommend contacting our Support Team. You can then have them try uploading the file on your behalf to see if the issue is on your side, or within our systems, then file a ticket if necessary.
Haha, computer has reached its update limit, so will go no further than el capitan.

I was having a similar issue with our site right now. I called support and I think we figured out the issue. Not sure if he also did additional things on the back end but I can describe for you what he walked me through.
The new items I've listed were coming up as "unavailable" so I went into each listing and chose "Visible" which is just below the item description. Once I did that and saved, I was able to go back in and update stock inventory successfully. I launched the site and it was published. I will have someone test the sale and hopefully that's the end of it. Fingers crossed! Hope this helps someone!
