Hello. We are unable to create a new payroll account. We continually get the message "Something went wrong. Please try again."
Background story: When we started our business, we were under another business and using their EIN. Mid-March, we separated and got our own EIN. When that happened, Square Payroll told me to end our old EIN payroll account and create a new one. Unfortunately, we kept getting that message. I contacted Payroll support, and they said sometimes it take 4-6 weeks for the IRS to process new EIN's, so it might just take time. It has now been more than 6 weeks, and we still get the same message. Any ideas?
