Currently the best way to do that in the Square Team app is just to create a conversation with that subset of employees. And you can rename the conversation to whatever that group name would be (e.g, 'Managers').
You can create as many conversations as you need with that same group of team members. So for example, you could have different conversations/groups like 'Managers - Reporting' and 'Managers - Hiring'.
