How to Set Up Team Permissions for Checkout Access

Hi I’m a new user.

Could someone offer some help.
I have added two new team members to take sales. How is it they can not see my checkout from the app, I’ve changed permissions. I now see (upgrade for advanced settings by each team member).
At this point I only need them to use the checkout.

Thanks in advance, if anyone has a solution.

Hi @SuzyQ1, welcome to the Square Community!

Thanks for reaching out! It sounds like you have two options based on your current setup:

1. Use a single Team Permissions set and apply the same permissions to all your staff members. This means everyone will have the same access level, including checkout access.

2. Upgrade your Square plan to unlock advanced Team Permissions. This will allow you to customise permissions individually for each team member, so you can give them exactly the access they need.

Since you only need your new team members to use the checkout right now, using a single team permission set applied to all users might be the quickest solution.

Take a look at our online guide for step-by-step instructions on creating a Team Permissions set, and make sure it's been applied correctly to all relevant team members.

If you'd like, we can help guide you through additional steps as needed!
