As an employer how can i set time off requests for my staff?
Hi @Platterbylu,
Thanks for your post, and welcome to the Community.
With Square Shifts, you can set availability, add shifts, and publish schedules for yourself and your entire staff.
Once set up, you can then view and manage time off requests from your team, from the Shifts tab of your Square Dashboard. When a team member requests time off, you’ll receive an email notification, as well as a notification in your Square Dashboard and Square Team App.
When a team member would like to request time off, they just need to head into the Square Team App.
From the Square Team App, select More.
Select Time off > Create time off.
Select the date and enter a Start time and End time or toggle on All day to select one or more full days.
Enter any notes for your request in Reason.
Select Submit request.
It's worth keeping in mind that team members can not request time off for schedules that have already been published.
You can learn more about getting started with Square Shifts (which is free for the first 5 team members), here.
If you have any questions after taking a look at the linked articles, just let me know.

Do you know if there’s the option or can we request the feature so that us as employers can manually go in and add time off for staff if they say in person for example or so that we can do it for them too.
It is impossible to do this; has been requested repeatedly and doesn't seem to register with them that so many people need this.
