How to Edit Federal Tax ID?

Hey,  we need to change our Federal EIN to a new one for 2026. Is there a simple way to do this? Without having to input all employees info again ?

The EIN associated with your account cannot be changed once tax filings have been submitted. If your business has a new EIN, you'll need to create a new payroll account. For assistance and next steps, please contact Square Payroll Support.
