I have a few employees set up that cannot ring anything up from the POS without clocking in. I did not set them up, a previous manager did. I cannot figure the difference between those team members and ones I added
I'm not sure I understand exactly. you want someone who isn't clocked in to be able to make sales with their login code?
Hi @lerouxbodyartss. There difference has something to do with the permission set the employees are assigned to. I found this out by trial and error. If an employee’s permission set gives them Shifts and/or Team Management permissions then they can ring up sales without clocking in. If they do not have any of those, then they must clock in to ring up sales.
In my case, I do not want every employee to have access to team and shifts permissions. So, they will always be forced to clock in before entering transactions. This is not something you can work around. Most likely the difference between the employees that you are seeing is because the ones who can do that (enter a transaction without clocking in) have permissions you might not want them to have.
So, I’d review your permission sets.
HI @lerouxbodyartss All team members should be able to take transactions without _needing_ to clock-in. Maybe you can share more re what you are seeing? Thanks!
