Had a new employee. Square sent them the link. They already had a Square account with another company they worked for. All of their information (SSN, etc) is populated but they couldn't log on. They called Square and square changed their email on my side to "employee@hotmail.com.deleted.squareup.com". Im not allowed to change it. The employee can't log on because it's not a valid email. Square told employee to tell me to send a link. There's no way to resend link because as far as Square is concerned they are all set up and active.
Any ideas?
Is there a way they can fill in the information they need to on your end (the option of doing it for the employee) and then they will get a four digit pin on your side they can use to log into devices? We had the same issue with two employees that had previously used square and I had to add their payroll info for them.
@DinaLRosenberg This is a problem for employees that have previously used Square with a different employer. This happened to me and I think we used a different email address for them. It's been a while ago.
Yes we had the issue for us too but we filled onboarding out for them and then issued them a pin to log in as a work around
