Employee Access

I want my front desk employees to be able to take payments using square. 
I'd like them to use the virtual terminal to create the order, and then the Square Terminal to process the credit card. 

Is there a way to have the virtual terminal open on the computer without being logged in as an Owner? I don't want everyone using the computer to have complete access to the square dashboard!

I know you can add employees and set up passcodes, but is this just for use on the terminal?

You can set up a permission set for your front desk that has access to the virtual terminal, It's under "Checkout" in the permission sets. Then they can login to virtual terminal themselves without full owner access.
