We've received similar feedback in the past from Sellers using Square Point of Sale and Square Online and this is another feature we have on our radar. We'll continue to track the feedback we receive from Retail Sellers via this thread alongside our Product Team.
This would be a super helpful implementation for my business also. Currently we are using Dymo printers with some very strange settings including setting the wrong size paper and increasing the magnification when printing to 120-160% in order to get the price to print at a reasonable size the customer can see.
We also use the barcode printing to make shelf labels for our products but the price on the labels just isn't an acceptable size especially for people with poor vision and the elderly. Its very difficult for customers to get the price of products that are low down on shelves
More freedom/customisations for barcodes including the size of the text and position would be a serious improvement

I will definitely continue to pass this feedback on to our team. However, I haven't received any further updates regarding the introduction of greater customisation for label printing at this stage.
Regarding the issues with the wrong size paper, could you provide a photo for me to take a closer look?
