Is anyone using multiple receipt printers with one Square stand? If so, can you describe how you solved for the multiple USB connections needed?

@TessC ;
Iam using Multiple Square Stands and Tablets and Cell Phones to print to One networked Receipt printer. Why are you trying to connect Multiple Receipt printers to 1 Square Stand? Did you go through Squares Printer Profiles to Set up one Receipt Printer then Try to Connect the second? With my Square Stands they came with an adapter to conect to the stands and a 110 outlet, which had 4 USB ports on it to connect up to 4 USB devices. Here is more about Printer Profiles : 8245-set-up-printer-profiles
Here is how to setup Multiple Printer for a Kitchen, which might help you with 2 Printers on one Stand :8282-configure-printer-profile-for-kitchen-routing
You Should be able to plug multiple USB printers in to your Square Stands HUB.
1st Gen square-stand-power-adapter-usb
Try Naming the Printers differently in the Printer Profiles.... Receipt and Copy for example.
I am not sure what type of in-house wifi system you have. The best way I know how to connect multiple Receipt Printers would be through a network assigned printer rather than USB. I know you have multiple USB receipt printers but does your Router, Access Point or Repeater have multiple USB ports that you could use for a Receipt Printers? If the Repeater, Router or Access Point has these USB ports for USB printers, they act like a Network Print Server to connect a USB printer. Just read the instruction on how to turn this feature on in your Network. Remember the Network Address of each Printer and then in your Square Stand connect a Network Printer instead of just a USB printer. You can connect one to the USB hub with the stand and the other to your USB port on a network device like the router if equipped with that feature. Mu older routers had this and even a Newer router had this but when I upgraded to a Network Mesh system its router does not have the USB port built in.

Thanks Keith! We are a bookstore with a kitchen and also coffee/wine bar so we want to have a designated printer for each station. My hub is completely full with other USB devices. I think Square told my manager that we could not use wiFi connected receipt printers in this kind of configuration, but that may be inaccurate.
I will look into connecting directly through the Router, as well as clarify the WiFi option. THank you!

WiFi connected Receipt Printers May or May not be supported by Square. Usually if you want multiple printers to be accessible to Multiple Pos stations you would use a Network printer. USB printers plug into the USB ports, your current Hub is full of devices and you should be able to plug a USB printer into the Routers USB port if it supports Printing from the USB port on the router. Since the Router accepts the WiFi signal, then transfers this information to the printer might be why this may work as compared to printing directly to a WiFi conected printer. Square does not let you put in the Printers WiFi credentials sepperately from your Networks Credentials. My WiFi printers at home Broadcast a network signal so my tablets and phones connet to that network to print to instead of my regular houses wifi. Now my newer WiFi printer can use the Houses Wifi to print from, but it all depends on how the Printer itself is manufactured.
My last suggestion if your router does not have a USB port would be to buy a Network to USB print server. Something similar to this :
You just plug one end into a Network port and the other end connects to your printer.
Just make sure your Stations are on the same Network as your printer.
