Group identical items together on printed tickets

It would be very useful if identical items were grouped. 

For example if a table orders two burgers, then it is easy to repeat the order and it is printed on the ticket as 2 x burgers. 

However, if one is taking orders from a big table and the orders are not next to each other then it will be printed as 

burger 

patatas

aubergine

burger

etc....

if the ticket is large then it wakes time and leads to more mistakes to count the number of items. This includes drinks at the bar.

At the moment, grouping items on printed tickets isn't available with the Square for Restaurants POS app.

It's an important request and we've heard it before so I’ll be sure to pass your comments off to our Product team, any updates we do have in future, we'll be sure to let you know here.
