The ability to search for past customer transactions directly through the transaction log by entering the phone number, name, date, or last 4 digits of the credit card. We are unable to look up cash receipts unless the customer has an loyalty account.

This might help make it a little easier to search for customer transactions when they have paid using cash:

Using the Transaction Log:

• Date Range: Specify the date range during which the transaction occurred. This can narrow down the search results significantly.
• Filters: Use filters such as payment method, employee, or location to further refine your search results.

Additionally, at least in my use-case it would be helpful to be able to search for transactions based on a specific product. For example, if I know/think I sold X product today, I can easily do a search in the transactions to see if/when/to what customer/etc.
